What You Need For Your DIY Hydroponics Project?

1-Most people prefer to start with the floating raft DIY hydroponics system. This system has a large 6 container that houses the plants in 3-inch net pots. Drip hoses supply water and nutrients to the root balls while the water is aerated with an air pump and air stone.
2-The floating system has the plants suspended from the lid of the container. You will have to cut holes in the top of the box to ensure that the plants are suspended and then fill the container with nutrients and water.
3-The DIY hydroponics system consists of a bedding table made of wood. This is provided with drain lines that connect to a water and nutrient tank. The growing bed is filled with sand, vermiculite, rockwool, or perlite and water is circulated around the growing medium. Watering is achieved by raising the tank and the excess water is drained by lowering the tank. This is a very efficient way of ensuring that the plants are watered effectively and regularly.
